This page is devoted to the topic of depression and anxiety.
It is loosely based on Dr. C. Robert Cloninger's book "Feeling
Good: The Science of Well-Being. 1" I am impressed with the
scholarship of this work overall. And I agree with over 90%
of the principles discussed. However in my opinion, it is
written at a PhD level. In these slide presentations I am
attempting to bring the material to a level that is accessible
to the general public. It is also my goal to expound upon
biblical correlates to the truths discussed by Dr. Cloninger.
It is my conviction that peace of mind is achievable to
everyone that is willing to pursue it. But it involves facing
some enemies within. If you are not willing to do anything more
than take medication to boost your satisfaction in life,
then do not bother watching these presentations. But if
you earnestly desire to experience the life that you were
built for, then get ready to take some notes. And welcome
aboard.
PS. I recommend that prior to starting these modules, first download the latest version of FLASH from
this link. Then go to the Authentic Happiness site and take some of these tests to assess what your
baseline happiness and strengths are. After you have put into practice some of this material, please
retake some of the tests to see if your new outlook has improved your sense of daily happiness.
