Feeling the steamy mustiness on your face, you gaze back down the hill. The carnival seems so many miles away. The lights shimmered and the music played The Show Must Go On that floated in the air like a dozen colorful balloons. Where your headed, you really don't know. You've passed all your tests and landed into the Dark Carnival. So many things you can see, feel, and do. It's like a land so many dream about.
      Shuttering from the coldchill you get dispite the heat, you make your feet force on up the ragged, steep hill. The long haul makes your ankles ache and even the top seems so close yet so far. The clouds dance and take shape of all the Joker's Cards, laughing and growling with a thunder-like sound. The tune of the carnival has faded totally and all you can hear now is the crickets, singing eerie tunes in your ears. Standing at the top, you look down onto some old rusty gates. As you skid down the other side, the gates fling open in an instant. Your startled but you wonder what's behind them.
      Nothing really, just about a hundred worn cobble stones and broken monuments. A graveyard. You have the feeling you have been here before. Goosebumps crawl into your skin and you gasp. Someone is behind you, breathing down you neck. You can taste their breath. So sour and hot. You shouldn't be here you think. You prepare to run but before you can even get a foot foreward you find yourself collapsing onto the dirt-filled floor and the last thing you can remember is the axe whistling through the air.
      "Welcome to my graveyard," she whispers, her green eyes glowing from under the hood. "Have a nice stay."

I'm taking down this page. I never update and everything is changing and evolving into something better. I've been taken into www.realjuggalos.com and this page is neglected. The Dark Carnival will always be in me and a part of The Dark Carnival will always belong to this page but to get the word out, we had to move on to something helly better and we couldn't turn down this oppertunity.
