Calhoun County's Circuit Court Reporters are committed to providing you accurate transcripts in a timely fashion. When contacting us regarding the ordering of transcripts, please provide us with as much information as possible, i.e., case name, case number, date of hearing (very important), and the desired delivery date. We will do our best to deliver transcripts as soon as you need them.

LOOK FOR THE BLUE CARD!

Pursuant to MCR 8.108(G)(1)(a), effective January 1, 1998, only reporters or recorders certified pursuant to this subrule may record or file transcripts of proceedings held in Michigan courts or of depositions taken in Michigan pursuant to these rules.

Pursuant to MCR 8.108(G)(1)(f), prior to the beginning of any deposition taken under these rules, the court reporter or recorder must display to all counsel present proof that the reporter or recorder has been certified as required by this rule.

Please ask to see your reporter's BLUE CARD to be sure you are using a Certified Shorthand Reporter for your depositions. The Blue Card will contain the following information as well as the reporter's signature:
