Blue River's German Shorthaired Pointer Family Album Part 1

This is May, nursing her newborn puppies, Max, Belle, Peanut and Jake. As you can see, she did her job well. All puppies were born a pound a piece. May is a sweetheart and at the same time the Alpha of my pack of 8. May keeps every dog in their place in my household, she is boss. With humans she is just a big mush. She thinks she is a lapdog and that's where she wants to be, when ever possible. May is definitely the lover of the family and she has spent every night since we brought her home in my daughters room.(Except when she whelped, she had her own room for a short time.) She is and continues to be a wonderful animal.

This is a picture of Rose. She has a sweet personality and she is my children's favorite. We should of named her wild rose, she has lot's of energy. Peanut is what we call her as when she dropped into my husbands hands the first thing he said was "Your just a little peanut" and so peanut kind of stuck. Peanut was and is very flashy and my children fell in love with her at first sight I knew at that point I was doomed and peanut has ever since remained part of our family with no regret.

This is Jake. He was my husbands pick. You can describe Jake in a few words "He is a lover" Jake is one of the most sweetest German Shorthaired Pointer's that you will ever come across, his hunting ability is excellent as is his temperment. Jake is obedient and always willing to please. He has become my husbands favorite at hunting time. Jake has a Junior hunting title.
