~A Wolf Pup in the Wilderness Alone~
Written by Russett
Bowing his head against the battering rain the wolf pup Russett strove onward. Going away from the den was a bad idea. Now he was completely lost in one of the most toughest areas to stay alive. The Northern Mountains. How he survived the first night out there, Russett never knew. Sopping wet, teeth a chatter, he struggled under a huge tree root. Curling up into a ball, he made a pitiful figure as the elements swirled around him.....

~A Year Later~
A dashing looking young wolf loped around a large cliff. Sniffing the air he paused. Food was getting scarce, he might have to go south. Russett Longhowl, if you wanted to give him his full title, was a rebel. Humming snatches of midnight howlings he trotted along. Stopping by a small stream, he yanked out his fishing net and began loping upstream. He felt the net twitch, so he yanked the net out of the stream. Quickly grabbing the fish from the net, he inspected it. A Bass. Russett waited until he knew it was dead, then began scarfing it. He didn't care about cooking, it just was a waste of time to Russett. For weapons he had a bow & arrows, a short dagger and he was working on a sword. He wore a light blue tunic, and a Robin Hood type hat with a red feather in it set at a jaunty angle on his head. Deciding fast after his stomach was full, he'd go south following the stream.

Meanwhile,50 miles away, another wolf, this time a female, sniffed the air.She was very pretty, with deep rich cocoa-colored fur and a cream underbelly, long, wild black hair, and eyes that reflected her mood-amber when she was mad, purple most of the time, green when she was plotting something, and blue when she was upset. She wore a tidy white dress with a long tan vest over it,and carried a sword,a dagger, and bow & arrows-she also possessed magical powers, but did not yet know it.Looking up at the clear blue sky,she loped off to the north. The wolf's name was WyndSong, known to her freinds as Wynd and to her enemies -the ones that were still alive, that is- as instant death. She was not a rebel like Russett, rather, she was an orphan and wandered where she pleased. Her parents had been killed by corsairs when she was a small pup and she had been living on her own ever since. Not knowing that she was about to see one of her own kind for the first time in many seasons, she continued on.Towards the north.Towards Russett.

Back to Russett RP'd by Russett and WyndSong

Loping in a direct course toward WyndSong, Russett decided he was going too slow. Picking up the pace to a strenuous run, Russett's spirits lifted with his speed. Within an hour he had gone farther than 25 miles...So had Wynd. Whistling cheerfully Russett decided that since he was in hostile territory he'd better arm himself. Pulling out one of his new weapons, bolos, he decided to look as menacing as possible. He started twirling them until they began whistling dangerously. Clacking them together, Russett rounded a bend...And straight into another wolf. Both wolves gave a yelp of startled suprise as they smashed into each other. The two wolves stopped. Russett's bolo fell limply against his arm,and WyndSong drew her sword. They stared at each other for a few minutes. Finally,WyndSong spoke."Well, what do we have here?" Russett looked at her."I could ask the same of you!"he said sharply.Secretly,he thought she was the most beautiful wolf he had ever seen. "Well I hope you're not a evilbeast, cause then I'm afraid I'll have to kill you...."said WyndSong, her eyes narrowing to slits. And there was no doubt in Russett's mind that she would do just that if he didn't say something, and fast. But he could not find the right words.Mouth dry, he gulped as her paw tightened its grip on the sword hilt. Snapping back to reality, Russett found his voice. "See 'ere. I ain't no evil beast. Jest a loner. Asides I'm goin' south cuz there ain't no tucker up there. Side from dat suppose yer gonna kill me anyway cuz ye won't change yer mind?" Speechlessly Wynd stared at the impudent Russett. Glancing backward, Russett loped off toward the south.

"Wait!"cried WyndSong "It's not safe-I've been there!!That's where all the corsairs are-you'll either be killed or forced to join them! And if you're gonna join them....well then I might as well kill you now, cause I vowed long ago to kill ALL evil beasts.." Russett had a funny feeling that WyndSong had a good reason for her bitterness."And why was that?"he asked her. Wynd sighed."Sit down.I guess I might as well tell you..."

WyndSong's Story

"You see,"she said,"when I was only a young pup,my parents were killed by corsairs. They had done nothing, but were foully murdered anyhow.I managed to escape into the woods, taking with me a little food.It was mid winter.I don't know how I survived but somehow,I did.I vowed on the first bitter cold night that I would kill any evil that I came across. So you see...."Then Aurora bent over, sobbing her heart out.Russett waited till she was calmer...and then a memories hit him like a bolt from the blue."WyndSong,"he asked,"when did your parents die?

"Last......winter......"she whispered painfully

"See, I remember last winter after I ran away,I survived the coldest night huddled under a tree root with a little wolf my age, a female-that looked alot like you. Her warmth saved my life that night, and we would have traveled together, but we were split up in a snowstorm...."He was stopped short by Aurora's strangled sob.

"Russett?"she whispered in a shocked voice.

"Wynd, I..."stammered Russett. He had had a gut feeling that this was the strong-willed young wolf he had met on that icy night so long ago but now that he knew that it was true, it was too much. "No," said WyndSong "don't say a thing. There's... nothing that...needs...to be...said"

With that they broke into joyous sobs and embraced happily.

"Well," said Russett after a while, "when you told me that the south wasn't safe, I didn't believe you, but now that I know who you are" She nodded, and they looked at each other, and at that instant, Russett knew he was in love.

"Well, now that you've been convinced not to travel south, would you like to travel with me in, well, some other direction? Unless you're going somewhere, that is..."WyndSong said quietly.

"Sure," said Russett, feeling like he would go anywhere with this wolf, "and you can pick the direction, too.

"West."said Wynd flatly "Searats also hang out in the east, and there's nothing to the north, so..."

And off they went, with that decided, talking about their travels and adventures. Unaware to the fact that, to the west, the cruelest corsair of them all was busily building her kingdom.
"Meet the Villain"

Risyad Darkclaw was this corsair. She was a big mean ferret, and very intelligent for an evilbeast. Risyad had jumped ship because she was tired of her fat, stupid captain, and later learned that the ship had been sunk the following morning. She had swam to the shore of a large island inhabited by some VERY uncivilized rats, but instead of killing them, she brainwashed them to her evil ways and taught them to be vicious fighters, and so she had her army. Now she wanted a fortress, and was treating the rats like slaves, and not her army. They were too stupid to object, except for 1 young rat. Her name was Tiranisa. She hated Risyad's evil ways, and had in fact vowed when Risyad first came to power that she would one day run away, form her own army, and rid the world of Risyad forever.
"Escape"
Tiranisa had made up her mind-she would run away tonight. Today, she had been beaten for not doing her share of the work, and, while she was being punished, she concocted a plan. She would remove a board from the side of the shack she lived in, and use it as a raft to get to shore. Since she had no belongings, it would be easy for her to balance on the small piece of wood. Then, once he found land, she would travel east, away from Risyad's reign of terror.

That night, she followed through with her plan for getting off the island. When she reached the shore, she looked off to her left, and, seeing the North Star, Polaris, she took off inland. Away from Risyad. And towards Russett and WyndSong.

Written by Russett
As they walked along Russett began telling WyndSong of his early life. "When I barely had my full coat, my mother, Ravenfur, died. That left my father to bring me up. Oh, of course I had the rest of the pack, but for me it wasn't enough. Now I lived in a cave with my brothers and sisters and we were forbidden to leave the cave. But one day when I was feeling adventurous, I toddled past my brothers and sisters and into the mouth of the cave. I blinked, and took a step.My eyes hurt very bad! I tried to scowl at the bright warrior invading my eyes. That hurt even more. I wanted to turn around and go back to my regular life. But, nope. I was stubborn. Suddenly,my feet gave away below me. The fall was rocky, and I bounced downward as bright flashes of color were dancing before my eyes. Then,I hit the ground."OWWWW!!!!"I yipped.I picked myself up and looked around, dazed. Peering upwards, I saw that the cave rested on top of a hill. There was soft white stuff on the ground. That was my first encounter with frost. Wobbling on my paws, I set off in an easternly direction. Suddenly my ears pricked up and on an instinct I scampered into the nearest bushes. I waited and waited. Soon a mother lynx and two young lynx came by.The mother began sniffing around for some unfortunate creature to hunt, and show the small lynx how to kill and survive. I had a feeling I wasn't going to like this. Unhappily I whimpered and slowly began backing out of the bushes. I knew exactly what to do. I had my fathers hunting skills, size, coat, howl and apettite. Mix my mother's braveness and cunning and my father's, and you get a wolf that when full grown you don't wanna mess with. I threw back my head and let out a long mournful howl, that so many times before I'd heard my father do. The hunting howl. The mother lynx hurriedly scooted her young out of the area. That was when the storm hit and we met, WyndSong."
Surprise!
As Russett finished, out of near-by bushes a rat stumbled. Russett growled and had a arrow notched to his long-bow in record time.

Written By WyndSong
Wynd whipped around,"Wha...."she said and then, seeing the rat, growled, bared her teeth, and threw herself upon it,growling and clawing viciously."WAIT!" cried Russett, shocked by this show of aggression."Why should I?"said WyndSong bitterly, looking up,and then she turned back to the rat...
Russett decided that he had to do something, and fast.Throwing aside his weapons,he flung himself into the frey.It took a minute, but finally he wrestled WyndSong off of the rat, which was squealing in pain. Wynd, thinking that she was being attacked by more rats, screamed and lashed out at Russett. The red wolf gasped as his right cheek was laid open by Aurora's sharp claws."Wynd,STOP!!"he cried in agony as the blood flowed across his face.
She looked down and gasped."Oh my gosh!I'm so sorry,I thought you were a rat..."
Russett glared at her."I figured that. But you could of looked before you did that!"
"When you're being attacked by a searat, generally you don't bother looking-you just save yourself."snarled WyndSong.
Russett glanced at the rat lying on the ground a few feet away."And speaking of searats...."

WyndSong followed his gaze to the rat lying on the ground, then she shrugged. "So? It's a rat. All that I care is that if it's alive we kill it."

Russett was shocked. "Wynd, how can you say that?" he said angrily, "It didn't even attack you-you attacked it! If anyone did something wrong, it was YOU and if you don’t even feel then you are more evil than that rat! And if that's the case then…you can say goodbye to this wolf forever! I don't trust you anymore! I'm taking the rat with me, I'm no healer but at least then you won't kill her! Goodbye! " and with that, he stormed off into the forest.
WyndSong sat down on a stump and stared blankly ahead as her eyes changed tol an icy blue color. What had she done? She had been beginning to like Russett, and now he was…gone. Had she been too ruthless about the rat? Was she as cruel as he said? She had only been following her gut feeling about any other creature, the one she had first felt upon seeing her parents bodies on the floor of the cave she had lived in. The moment surfaced in her heart, and she bent over and wept. Was this gut feeling…wrong? Then she had a frightening thought that was all too true. She had just done to this rat the same thing that others had done to her parents so long ago. She had tried to kill it for absolutely no reason except an unfair stereotype. And what if she had killed it? She realized all her mistakes in life and lapsed into even harder sobs as the sun set in a purple-pink-yellow-orange-red explosion over her-she was an outcast, with only the newly appearing stars for company.
Meanwhile, miles away, Russett was desperately working on the rat's wounds. He knew that he had only a few minutes left until dark, and that if the wounds were left until morning, the rat would surely die.Plus,it had taken a long time to bandage his own face.
Finally, as the last golden rays slipped below the horizon, Russett tied the bandage. Then he gave a sigh of relief…and exhaustion. He had carried the rat 15 miles to make sure that WyndSong wouldn't find them. He was now genuinely afraid of the pretty wolf who only hours ago he had been in love with. Life was very complicated. He looked up at the night sky for a few minutes…then he fell asleep.
When Wynd awoke, she still felt sorry about the incident. She then resolved Russett and the rat. She would apologize to them(especially the rat)and, hopefully, they would be able to travel together. However, she felt it would be best if she waited a few days to locate them. In the meantime, she resolved to set up a camp.
Russett awoke to being tapped by a bandaged paw. He yelped, then he turned around and saw the rat looking at him. He breathed a sigh of relief. It was obviously going to be OK.

First, he felt he owed it an apology. "Look," he said with a sigh, "I'm really sorry about how WyndSong behaved yesterday…it's just, her family was killed by corsairs when she was a pup and she's a bit too suspicious of others…"
"It's OK," said the rat, who appeared to be female, "I understand. My family was dragged into a corsair's army, and brainwashed to be evil, which, if you ask me, is just as bad."
Russett was shocked. "You mean, you're…"
The rat sighed. "No, I’m not evil, it's just, everyone where I come from…is."
The wolf sighed. "I figured that. I didn't think you were a spy or anything, though Wynd apparently did…"
The rat shrugged. "Oh well," she said, "That's life. So, um, what's your name? I'm Tiranisa."
Russett grinned. "I'm Russett Longhowl. Oh, hey, and, by the way, you can travel with me if you like-I don't mind a bit…but that's once you're healthy again, of course."
Tiranisa laughed. "I daresay it won't be more than a few days before I'm better. And I'd love to travel with you! Now, how about some breakfast?"
They laughed, and Russett set out to find some berries and plants, while Tiranisa heated up water for tea.
Four days later…
"I've been thinking," said Russett a few days later as they ate a breakfast of raspberry muffins, "maybe we should find WyndSong. I kind of miss her…"
Before Tiranisa could reply, the bushes rustled about 10 feet away.
"Russett? Is that you?" called a familiar voice. WyndSong's voice.
Russett gasped. "Quick, hide! I'll take care of her!" he whispered to Tiranisa, then he turned back to the bushes. "Go away, Wynd! You're not wanted here!"
She stepped out of the bushes, looking hurt and confused. "But, Russett, I'm sorry. I was wrong probably, but…"
He looked at her coldly. "You were wrong. And I really don't care. "
"How can you say that? I was here 10 minutes before you noticed me. I heard you say you wanted to find me! Liar!" she said angrily, her normally cool amber eyes flaming orange-red.
Russett sighed. "Well, I guess you can join us. But, you have to promise to not harm Tiranisa in ANY way. Understand?"
"Of course! And you can tell her that it's safe to come out-I won't hurt her! I heard you tell her to hide." grinned WyndSong.
Russett sighed and turned around. "Tiranisa, you can come out now."
A New Face
Written by Redsplash

Redsplash the otter jumped out of the ocean and on to an inland. it had a fortforess on it. "Cool"she remarked walking up to it. Although she knew it was the enemy's fortress, she did not really care what happened to her now. After the murder of her parents, she had just given up. "Hey, there's an otter down there!" someone called. Redsplash would have stayed and fought to the death, but something was telling her to run. So she did. She swam as fast as she could for a couple of miles, reached land, and kept running .And that's when she ran right smack into Tiranisa, Russett, and WyndSong.
Redsplash saw the two wolves and the rat and immedietly sprang on the rat, who gave out a yelp of surprise. It took about 10 seconds before she felt herself being lifted away by four strong hands. She felt herself flying throught the air and her head hit a big strong trunk of a tree... then she fainted.

When she woke up she saw two wolf faces and a rat face looking at her. "Oops, sorry." the wolves were remarking, "We didn't mean to hurt you-really!". Redsplashe's head felt like it had been hit by a brick wall. There was only one thing she could say and it was..."OUCH".She then noticed something unusual-the rat was being treated by one of the wolfs and not screaming very loudly. Redsplash got up and held her head, then she was even more puzzled. Why were these beasts helping her? Rats and wolves were usually vermin. One of the wolves must have realized what she was thinking, because it started telling her a story. Redsplash was rather dizzy, so she missed a lot,but the wolf's ending words were, "...so my name is Wyndsong, this wolf is Russett, and the rat is Tiranisa." Redsplash looked puzzledly at Wyndsong, but before she could say anything, the wolf raised an eyebrow and asked, "So what's YOUR story?"

Redsplash's Story
Redsplash sighed."Ok.Here goes-hope I can do this..."
"I was about to become the Skiperess of all otters, and since everbody was preparing for the party, they only had one lookout at the post. But they knew something was up was when the lookout fell from the tower her shouht silenced by a dark blood red arrow. That was when they attacked. I was pushed into the lake near by by my mother and father. Then I was knocked unconcious. I heard that my whole family had been killed from a very relibale sorce. I woke up and wandered onto land in front of a fortress. I started to run then jumped back into the water. Then I got out and ran right into you." Redsplash was crying now. "I have vowed to kill the ORDER OF THE BLOOD RED ARROWS, which is what they are."
Now all of them were crying for poor Redsplash.

Redsplash and the others were heading west. They had been sharing life stories on their way. They were voting on whose was the saddest when they came to a large river. Redsplash jumped in and started swimming along. She was about half way to the other bank when she realized her friends were not with her. "Come on-the waters great!" she said. Wynd dipped her paw nimbly into the water. Then she placed the other paw in and started to wade through to Redsplash.Suddfenly,a huge current came along and swept her away. "AHHHHHH! HELLPP!" she yelled in dismay. Redsplash realized the danger her friend was in and swam with shocking speed through the water to reach her friend, with Russet yelping on the bank. Redsplash powered her legs and reached her friend just before the waterfall. She was well worn out by all the swimming but somehow maneged to pull her and her friend onto the bank. Then they fell down onto the bank, both unconcious. Redsplash woke to see Russet's worried face staring down at her. "Uhg" she mumbled. Then she sat up and looked at Wynd laying right next to her. She was breathing in large ragged breaths. She had taken numerous bumps to the head and had a scar running down her right arm. "Youch" Redsplash said. She reached to a nearby tree, picked out a few leaves, and laid them on the scar. She then got a huge leaf and some water from the stream and poured the water on to Wynd's head and face. Wynd awoke with a groan. "Are you okay?" both her friends asked. "Yes, I think." she said. "Who did this?"she asked. "I did" Redsplash said. "I didn't get to be skippress of all otters for nothing." she said, half smiling."I already lost my whole family and I couldn't stand to lose a friend." she added, the smile disappering.
Redsplash's friends gazed at her. They were both wondering the same thing-if Redsplash could cross the river with out help she might be able to go from one side to the other pulling them. Reading their faces,Redsplash grinned and said,"We will have to build a raft."
"HUH?" remarked both wolves. They had had the idea to cross by Redsplash pulling them, but they were wolfs and did not know that much about river riding or raft building, since they were both pups when they got lost or their parents got murdered. "You know what a raft is...right?" asked Redsplash. "Yeah...ummm...I think...so...maybe...." said Russet."HUH?" repeated Wynd. Redsplash laughed and drew her sword. She picked out a few trees and she started to chop at them. Then the other two joined them and pretty soon they had all the trees they needed. "We need some green vines." Redsplash said. Wynd ran in the forest and came back with 6 big thick green vines. "Good" said Redsplash and began wrapping the vines around the raft. When she was finished, they had a huge sturdy raft. Redsplash grabed 3 sticks and then got one extra vine and cut it in to thirds. She wound them around the sticks and tied them in a knot. Then she reached into one of the haversack and took out a few hooks ant tied them on. "Our food is going low." she said in explanation. Then they all stood up.Without a word, they pushed the raft into the water and started off.

Redsplash took a deep breath and dove under the surface. She looked around under water and found the extra part of a vine that hung down and began to pull the boat floated along with her and when it was far enough to float on it's on she pulled herself back up and brought out the fishing poles. She handed one to each of the wolves and showed them how to fish. When they finely got to the other side of the river, they had one full haversack of fish. Redsplash showed them how to make the smell go away. They stepped off of the boat and tied the boat to a tree and began to walk up the path. The trees had fruit on them a Redsplash and Russet picked it as they walked along. Then they came to a deep woods. Out of the dark trees she heard someone yell,"Stop who goes there? Vermin! Stop!" it yelled.

Something had knocked all four of the travelers that now lay on the ground.Redsplash looked up and shouted "Hey, I'm not vermin." there was a short pause then a hand reached down to help her up. "Sorry about that mate we didn't see ya. Up you goes now." said a voice. Redsplash got up and turned around it was an otter! "Hi, my name is Redsplash and we are innocent travelers and you must let us be." she said. "Hey Wetback get over here will ya mate."he yelled to some other otter. A young otter with bright eyes spang up and said, "What's up Skipper me matey?". "How does this look to you. Two wolves, a rat, and a otter come marching through are camp picking our fruit and the otter says they are innocent travelers." asked Skipper. "Well if ya ask me, wich ya are I'd say that the wolfves might be okay but the rat who ever heared of a good rat?" said Wetback. "Who eveer heared of an otter named Wetback I haven't in my travles. Just because you have never haered of it doen't mean it can't happen." said Redsplash. "What she says is true ya know Wetback. A good rat could happen but it is not likely." said Skipper. The wolfves and rat who had been laying on the ground finly said "So can we get up now or are you to going to yack all day?". "Let 'em up."said Spper with a laugh. When they got up they had dinner and told their stories. "So, you should be Skippress of sll otters huh, well we will have the cermony in two days, okay"said Skipper. "Thank you."said Redsplash standing up all of a sudden and knocking the chair over. Redsplash was a little tired because all of the races and contestes reqired her in it. But the last thing she had to do was go into the forest and spend the rest of the day in it. She marched into the forest with her pack of food bounching on her back. She found a tree deep in the forest and sat down. Her remarey came back and pulled her back into the time when she saw the leader of the group of vemine climbing over the wall. It was a black fox. Redsplash did a sort of half growl. Then she heared a noise in the bushes. She truned around and found her eyes staring into toes that seemed to have no emoshion. They were deep and black. She looked down but she didn't have to it was the second in command of the group of vemine that killed her family. The fox lunged at her she pulled out her sling and she swung it it hit him in the side of his head knocking him not but not killing him. She heared a wimmper somewhere. She looked around she saw a bag moveing. She picked it up and looked inside. There was a baby badger inside. She picked it up and put the pack on her sholders. She marched off, carrieing the sling in one hand and carrying the fox in the other.

Redsplash walked on only to be met by another black fox. she slung her sling as hard as she could and knocked him out before he could do anything. The badger babe whimpered and she decided to hurry it up. She changed pace from a slow walk to a fast trot. She heard a rustle in the forest with her hands full she could not do battle with the creature in the wood nor could she risk a look over her shoulder. She again changed pace but this time to as fast a she could go. the rustle became even closer thinking of what would happen to the baby badger if it was another black fox she somehow found a extra burst of speed and ran panting into the otter camp. "Hey mate, your belong in the forest!" said Skipper and then he saw the foxs and the pack with the badger in it. Skipper jumped into to action "Wetback get over here and help Redsplash into the infermarey! Get this babe some tucker while your at it!" he yelled. .....................1 day later...................... Redsplash sat up in the bed she had been sleeping since the last day. "Matey are you all right over there?" Wetback asked. "Sure mate. Now how about some food. And where is that badger babe?" Redsplash asked. "Hey get the cook to get some food in here and while your at it get the badger in here! " Wetback yelled at some otter just standing around. The otter ran away to get what was asked for Redsplash. Redsplash sat up and stared at Wetback somewhere she had seen him before somewhere. "Where's Skipper I need to tell him something?" asked Redsplash. "Oh, I'll go get him." Wetback said rushing off. Just then the other otter came in carrying a tray in one hand and the badger in the other. "Here ya are miss." He said. "Thanks." she said. She pulled the the badger onto the bed she had been sitting in. Then she baleanced the trey on her legs. "Hello little feller" she said to the babe. just then Skipper rushed in. "Hi there mate. How are you this morning?" he asked. "Fine" came the reply. "What's the badgers name?" she asked. "It's up to you. You found him he's you babe to ya know." said Skipper Redsplash let the shock settle in for a while. "I'll call him Urthstripe."she said. "Fine name for the young un' he's got the biggest stripe I've ever seen.

Redsplash had done everything she could for the babe but she couldn't help wondering if she had been a coward. She had run from a noise in the bushes! Her parents had always said not to run from things she couldn't see, but how could she help from running? She decided she would go out there and see what was there. She packed a bag full of food, got a bow, a quiver of arowwers, and a sling and set off. She stole into the night making sure to stay out of the lookout's gaze. She went into the forest, took a look back and let the image burn into her memory. Then she pressed on. She heard a rustle in the bushes when she was in the middle of the forest. She turned but saw nothing. She turned around and kept going. Soon she was so far in the forest she couldn't see the fort. Then she heard a rustle in the tree right next to her she looked up and was tackled form behind. She was knocked senseless. When she woke up she could not see anything..

Redsplash stared at the pitch black darkness. She heared the sound of steady rain pealting the roof of the room she was in. She tried to get up but her legs and her hands were tied together. She started to bite throught the rope. "No, no there is no need for that if you relly hate that rope enough to bite through I might as well cut it off." came a voice from the other end of the place she was in. She heared the footsteps padding toward her. She turned towared it a growled a feirce growl. "Now no need for that." came the voice. Redsplash felt strong hands grab her and hold her down. She also felt the rope losing and the blood begain flowing again. She stood up when the last strand had been cut and reached out wildly to hit the thing in ther with her. The other one in there was used to the dark and douged nimbaly to the side. The next thing she knew the other one had her hand pulled up behind her and threatened to brake them if she didn't keep still. "Now we will try this again." said the voice in a boraed voice like it had done it a million times. "You will keep still till I tell you to move." it contenued. The arms gided her over to a certen part of the room. "Sit down." it said. Redsplash carfully sat down. When she finally felt something she shot up again because it was cold. "It's okay." said the voice and gentally lowered her down again. This time it wasn't shuch a surprise and she sat down with no delay. She heared movments and sounds indacateing that other had sat down to but right in front of her so that if she tried to get away it could grab her. By then the frist light of dawn was begining to show and the frist thing she saw was black fur. As the light progresed She also saw it was a fox. It took about two seconds to see the resembalise between the fox that had slatered her family and this one. There was only one diffrence this fox had blue eyes and the other one had bright yellow. "You have very pretty eyes and you better be thankfull for them because they are the only things that saved you." said Redsplash. "Yeah well everyone says that." he answered kind of shyly. Their talk was cut shrot by the opening of the cell doors. The fox that had killed Redsplashes family appered. "Hi, son" said the fox. "Hello, father" answered the other one.
