"Ode to my brother"
Too much your regard, silicon chips and their bugs, I'm trying to awake you, attend to Gods tugs. You have made it this far, I pray you will last. Consider the hour, the danger's not past. The Lord is not lazy, nor careless his reason. His purpose for waiting, allows us to season. With patience He loves us, awaits with concern, in hopes that we soon, will begin to discern. I cannot be sure of the day or the hour. I am sure that soon, we will see His great power. God said to be ready, for hard times prepare. I pray that you hear Him, take heed and beware! The time is afar off, the foolish are betting. Come, let us enjoy these good times we are getting Then without warning, as a thief in the night, trouble will come, increasing its might. The wise will be ready discerning the time. The foolish cared not, now will pay for their crime. Please help us we're needful, the foolish will say, give us of yours, we are willing to pay. The wise will reply, I am sorry you see, there is not enough, for both you and for me. Go rather and buy, should the merchants be selling. But the Lord may return, while your out of your dwelling! All will take place, in the blink of an eye. He will come with his angels, to lift us up high. I love you my brother this isn't a whim, I pray God prepare you, and draw you to Him. He sends of His Spirit, to comfort and teach. His Word, it is living, it's truth, we must reach. Life cannot be purchased, no works can achieve, as a gift you receive it, if you will believe. Listen closely dear brother, consider the time, You will profit for sure, life eternal you'll find. You wont want to miss it, there's no other way, our Good Fathers Word, we must learn to obey. "The road to life"
The small road I point to, will lead you to life, The journey looks harder, appears to have strife. The large road is wider, looks easy I know, many will go there, where death takes its toll. Look where I'm pointing, it leads to the way, toward life everlasting, with Jesus to stay. Remain on the small road, both you and your mate, while on your great journey, you'll come to a gate. This small gate you'll find, on the small road it lies, there you'll see treasures, which will soon be your prize. As you approach it, great joy you will learn. For others to find it, persuade them to turn. Now that you have found it, rejoice and be glad, it leads to the greatest reward to be had. Small hindrance it offers, some early some late. The challenge is yours, your reward will be great. Enter at that point, don't wait for tomorrow. To miss it would lead you, to trouble and sorrow. At first it seems harder, and many won't go, ask Jesus for aid, He will help you I know. The road seems to end, at a small narrow path, follow it closely, to save you from wrath. At the end of the path, you will discover a door, remain there and wait, while Gods Word you explore. Gods Word you must come to accept as a child. it beckons and comforts, with mercy and mild. For those who oppose Him, and hold up their guard, this Word is repulsive, exposing and hard. Seems never enough, as a cool drink at thirst, to have all at once, would sure cause you to burst. To prevent this occurrence, He serves it with measure, reviving you slowly to health and great pleasure. He sends forth his Spirit granting light and to heal, so that none will be wasted, He secures His great seal. The light you receive, will shine forth from your heart. Now walk with assurance, view the darkness depart. Soon you will enter, the Groom will arrive. He will open the door, and receive you with pride. What a glorious time, it will be for those all, who have answered the draw, of his beckoning call. To enter His kingdom will be a delight. The view and its splendor, is such a great sight. Now His sweet children, bought at a great cost. His greatest desire, is for none to be lost. Soon those who opposed him discover their plight. Their eyes become open, their tongues they will bite. Why didn't we listen? Those crowds will soon cry. We could have received Him, why didn't we try? Please open the door! Help us now to come in! Who are you there? The reply from within. We are your children, all one in the same. Those who helped others, by using your name. Depart from me now! Says the Lord from within. I never did know you! your covered with sin. No one can come here, save only the few, whom allowed me to wash them, and dress them anew. And now my sweet children. You'll soon hear him say. Come for your prize, and receive your pay. Bow now before Him, to thank Him kneel down. He'll place on your head, your reward of a crown. The pay you receive, for your journey and quest, to remain by His side through eternity blessed. Blessed be the day when you trust Him and choose, to follow Him home where your life He'll not lose. Now thank our dear Lord for the things He has done. For His life He laid down, so that ours might be won. There never will be, ample words one can say. Overflowing with blessings, no words can convey. Tarry not my dear loved ones, the hour grows late. Attend to these words, and consider your fate. Do stay on the small road, the one I did show. Long life you will find, and great joy you will know.

"Let it go"
As children bring their broken toys, with tears for us to mend, I brought my broken dreams to God, Whom is my dear best friend. But then instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone, I hung around and tried to help, with ways that were my own. Impatiently, I snatched them back and cried, "You are to slow!" "My child" He said, "What can I do? You never let them go." Author unkown.
