Sonny is our 2nd, once in a lifetime dogs, his father (Manny) was our 1st. We lost his sire to a car accident and never had been more devasted. We decided at that time to get one of his pups and picked out our Sonny dog. We never believed in a million years we would be fortunate enough to end up with a dog that was every bit as enjoyable as Manny but we were.
Sonny is our main hunting partner. Not that the others don't get their time in the field but Sonny is the one we count on day in and day out. He would give up all the biscuits in China if he thought that would please us. That's what he lives for.....to please.
Sonny has repeatedly reproduced exceptional hunting dogs and best freinds for many people. It's his calm dispostion, strong hunting abilities and biddable behavior that many find attractive, not to mention his striking appearance.
