Boyd Open Doors

Hi! My name is Lynn Roth, and I teach gifted students at Boyd Elementary School, in Jackson Mississippi. Our class is called Open Doors. Let me tell you a little about our class and community!

OPEN DOORS PROJECTS

A 1998-99 year long project my classes worked was Owney The Traveling Dog! We traveled from state to state with Owney. We learned so much from all the postcards and it was such fun when Owney visited us. We hated to see him go!

All Open Doors Classes in our district participate in an annual service project called S.H.O.P. (Students Helping Others Planetwide), to raise money and community awareness for needy causes.
