I have found a few things you can do with the netlink upgrade that not to many know about.
Such as:
Mode that most people know:
mode #room +o nick
mode #room +v nick
mode #room +t
mode #room +m
mode #room +s
mode #room +l#
mode #room +p
mode #room +k key
topic #room text
mode #room -o nick
mode #room -v nick
mode #room -t
mode #room -m
mode #room -s
mode #room -l#
mode #room -k key
Modes that some people dont know about:
mode &room +r nick - If you are +r then even if your the first person in the room you cant get @.
mode &room +w - no clue yet
mode &room +a - this makes all your nicks now shown.
mode &room -a - shows your nicks again.
Chat
There are two different ways to chat. The first you can
with the original browser that came with the Net Link. Our
friends at Net Link World have just launched a new chat
area just for Net Linkers. Check it out at:
Netlink world IRC server
and follow the instructions there.
If you want to use IRC (Internet Relay Chat) type chat, you
need the upgrade browser. Once you have the newbrowser, check out:
