  1. Immediately notify your Team Captain that you have received your package and are ready to begin play.

  2. FIRST MOVES

    NOST Players
    Send first move with white to all opponents (Game A)

    APCT Players
    Send first move with white to all players except NOST opponents (Game A)

    CCLA Players
    Send first move with white to TCC and USCF opponents (Game A)

    TCC Players
    Send first move with white to USCF opponents (Game A)

    USCF Players
    Will receive first move from all opponents. Reply and send first move for Game B.

    All Players
    Will receive first move from all opponents. Reply and send first move for Game B.

  3. When you have made contact with all your opponents, immediately notify your team captain. (He must file a report before April 15.)

  4. If you do not hear from any of your opponents by March 15, notify your team captain and sned a certified mail repeat of your first move. (If you are black, sned a hello, your first move is due note by certified mail.) Use a return postcard (green) which requires a signature as part of your certified mail procedure. If you still have not heard from your opponent by April 5, notify your team captain and the tournament secretary.

  5. Report after one year (March 1, 1992) to your team captain.

    1. Number of moves played.
    2. Time of reflection.
    3. Any special or irregular situations.

  6. In all correspondence give board # and club.

    Do not contact opposing team captains.

    Rely on your team captain for rule interpretations and questions. When in doubt ask your team captain. Avoid direct communication with tournament secretary unless absolutely necessary or as required by the rules.

  7. Note that you must notify the tournament secretary before you take leave from play and if you change your address. Be sure to also notify your team captain and ICCF-U.S. (this office) of any address change. Penalty can be severe if you fail to do so. See Rule 25 and Rule 28.
