Dragons of Yesteryear

Once, in a time long, long ago, there lived an abundance of dragons. Over the centuries dragons have been hunted and persecuted to the extent that they had to go into hiding so that mankind would think on them no more. Once in a while they will make their appearance known to a chosen few whom they intuitively know to be true believers.

It is with great honor that I present to you these fabulous creatures. Tread carefully in this realm...there are many dragons here still angered with mankind at the terrible injustice imposed on them.

Keep scrolling past the castle and over the hill. There you will find the dragons you seek.

Fear naught from Malinor...unless you mean harm to those in this realm. Malinor flew in from parts unknown. Apparently he was so traumatized HE himself does not remember from whence he came. He is so grateful for this little refuge offered that he guards the borders of this realm from tresspassers and evil doers. Beware if you misstep...he is much quicker than he looks!

Dragons are great friends to those they deem worthy. Treat them with kindness and respect and they will be lifelong friends. Just a little note of warning...never mistake friendship for ownership. You DO NOT own a dragon. They choose to be with you or they don't...it's that simple. Once you think you have possession of these magnificent creatures you will find them no more. They are very independent...and rightfully so...they have taken care of themselves for centuries with no help from us.

Ranquill here has his eye on you...he guards his horde jealously...so be careful not to disturb his as you tippy toe past him. And tippy toe you must...for the slightest move will sway that enormous head!

Ranquill found his way here from "Dragon's Galore"

Now that you've made it past Ranquill, you're on much safer ground. Abernathy amusses himself by telling fortunes. Look deeply into his crystal ball and see if he will tell you yours.
Abernathy is here with the permission of Nemia Rucker

Now...you must be very quite as you exit or you will awaken Gwenyth. Cedric has just gotten her to sleep with his magic bubbles.
Gwenyth and Cedric came from Delight's Fantasy Art.
