The Dutchess
Hi There. I suppose you have come here to learn a little about me. Well as my page says I'm DutchessGirl. My real name is Jennie. I'm 20yrs old, I live in southern Michigan. I'm 5'5" or 5'6", not quite sure anymore. I have a natural talent for writing, in other words I write. I love to sing, my friends say I sound a lot like Madonna, the gruffer end of her voice. Umm, I have green/blue eyes, dark auburn/brown hair. Think that is about it for Describing myself.
To go into better description of my writing, I tend to write poetry more than anything, but I have written a story or two. For further description of where I live. Like I said I live in southern Michigan. Right down by Indiana. I don't actually live in a town. The closest towns to me are: Coldwater, MI. Quincy, MI. Angola, IN, and Fremont, IN. I live almost precisely 20 minutes between these towns. So I am smack dab in the middle. Or as a lot of my friends describe it: B.F.E. Butt-F**king-Egypt. No offence to anyone. That is the last thing I am after. hehehe...
Let me tell you a little about my house. Most people find it interesting, so maybe you will as well. It is what is called an Earth_burm house. In other words part of it is underground. When you see my house from the road I live on, all you can see is the roof, and out garden. (garden ha.) From the front, there is of course the doors to enter the house, and the windows to each outside room. There is a bath and a half, three bedrooms, a computer room, living room, dining room and kitchen together. I plan on posting a picture of the house in my photo album.
Now to totally confuse you, I'll tell you a little about the music I listen to. Now I am truly and ecletic music listener. I listen to everything from Opera/Classical, to Marilyn Manson/Metallica. Some of my favorite musicians/artists are: Tori Amos (my goddess), NIN (Nine Inch Nails), Dido, some Toni Braxton, Annie Lennox (my other goddess), Natalie Merchant, Paula Cole, Marilyn Manson, Sir-Mix-Alot, Salt-N-Pepe, Sheryl Crow, Cowboy Junkies, Savage Garden, some Beach Boys, Alanis Morissette, some Adam Sandler. Now mind you that is only a few of the ones I like. Now in Opera, I ADORE Madame Butterfly, Tosca. These are the only two operas I am actually fully familiar with. And sadly I am only familiar with Luccino Pavaroti, Jose Careess, Placido Domingo. In other words "The Three Tenors". I am not familiar with female sopranos, altos, or even the female tenor. I do however like various voices.
