FRENCH TRANSLATION

For this tutorial you will need:

PSP 7 -- download a trial version.

Funhouse Filter -- download zip file. Unzip and place in your filters folder.

OPTIONAL - Eye Candy 4000.

Right click on the image below and copy to PSP or use an image of your choosing.

This is a copyrighted painting by Karl Bang. Personal Use Only.

I used the following gold fill, which I believe is Dee's. Right click and copy to PSP.

So, let's get started!!!

Open the painting in PSP. Go to File, Save as moire frame.psp or a name of your choosing and be sure to save your work often!

Make your background color white and foreground to the gold pattern. Add a white border of 4. Using your Magic Wand, select the border and fill with the gold pattern. Go to Selections - Invert. Eye Candy 4000 using Cutout Matte Cut, Eye Candy 3.1 or apply a cutout using PSP. I used the Matte Cut in Eye Candy 4000. Select none.

Add a white border of 25. Select with Magic Wand and floodfill with the gold pattern. Keep it selected.

Go to effects, filters, Fun House, Moire Mirror and use the setting of 48.

Select a color from your painting and make that your background color. I used #23417D. Add a border of 3, using the color you chose. Select your border, invert and apply the same cutout as used above.

Change your background color back to white and add a border of 10. Select the border with your Magic Wand. Add a raster layer and floodfill with the gold pattern. Change your background color back to the color you chose.

Go to your Fun House Filter, Moire Mirror and use the setting of 165.

Add a border of 2, using the color you chose.

Then add a border of 2, using white. Select the border and floodfill with the gold pattern.

You're done!!! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I did in writing it....*s* Don't forget to resize for posting to the group...*s*
