Trying to deal
with the pain deep within.
Her growing body
puts mind in a spin.
Adolescent’s turmoil,
the pressure of peers…
her energy drained
by the flow of tears.
Unaware of the presence
she'll find deep inside…
The light of her spirit
revealed in due time.
