THAT'S THE RULZ

Hey! I'm Nathan Heftie and this is my column. The views expressed here are mine and mine alone and Im not forcing you to agree with them. WOOOOOOOOOOOO! Just like the IV Horsemen, I am back!!!! And better than ever. (I hope!!) I want to apoloize to all the fans of my column and to Adam for not updating my column in forever. I have been remiss in even visiting the homepage lately and I apologize for that too. But I am ready to discuss my thoughts on a wide variety of topics once more. Well, lots of stuff actually.

To start, I want to discuss Goldberg for a second. Yeah sure, I cheer this guy and I enjoy seeimg him wrestle but let's think for a minute here. WCW had 10 year old Reed Flair, a Amatuer Wrestling Champion come on the show a few weeks back. And you know what? There were alot of people jokingly saying Reed Flair for WCW Champ. Thing is, Reed would be better than Goldberg,especially if he could had good mike skills and a good persona. He alreadys knows a heck of a lot more moves than Goldberg does. Yes, a 10 yr. old could out wrestle Goldberg. Now unfortunately, Bischoff is an idiot and he happens to let WCW be controlled in part by another idiot, Hulk Hogan. Now, Hulk Hogan is an egotist, that is why he and the NWO are still around. He likes th airtime and fame he gets, whether it is boos or not. And Bischoff also gets the airtime to feed his ego so he keeps up the act too. And it makes me sick. I get more pissed at Bischoff as time goes on. Let's see here: There is the idiotic Scott Hall drunk angle. Scott Hall has brought in a ton of money for Bischoff and Bischoff repays him by making him embarass himself on national TV just for the sake of re-uniting the Outsiders. Puh-lease. I understand Hall has drinking problems and marijuana usage problems in real life but that, by no means, gives Bischoff the right to use those problems for his financial gain. Not to mention Bischoff has completely destroyed the tag team scene in WCW. He had 3 of the top teams EVER in wrestling (Steiners, Outsiders, and Harlem Heat) and none of them are together now because Bischoff doesn't like tag teams. Thing is, I am sure I could do a survey and at least 90% of the respondees would agree with me they they still want tag teams around. I think tag teams are good because of the sheer level of manuevers they can do since there are two of them. Now, the WWF has managed to nearly destroy one of my all time favorite tag teams, LOD, and I ain't too happy with that. But Bischoff has messed up the Steiners, which is almost as close to sacrilige as you can get in wrestling, and Harlem Heat, former 7 time WCW Tag Team Champs as well as former champs in other feds. You DO NOT break up a team like Harlem Heat and DEFINITELY NOT a team like the Steiner Bros. But Bischoff did because he is an idiot. Yeah, the NWO has brought in a lot of money but guys liked the Steiners and Harlem Heat brought in there shair of money too. They don't deserved to be payed back by wrestling each other. Especially since both these teams are made up of brothers. Sure, brothers scuffle in real life but wrestling has really gone a bit too far with these brother/brother wars lately. Not to mention that it is a tired angle. Bret and Owen did it the best and the Steiners is OK but I don't know how the Harlem Heat one will go over when it starts. Wealso have the UT/Kane in the WWF but since they aren't true brothers I can live with it. Going back to the Scott Hall angle now they have Kevin Nash mimmicking Scott Hall to fool him. Now, I don't know why Nash has gone along with this but I think he as well as I and many others will be glad to see it end. I think that it will end a Havoc when the two wrestle. The whole angle is so Scott Hall can join the Wolfpac with Nash. And don't worry. Scott will join. Nash pulls too many strings at WCW for him not to. I am also surprised that Bret Hart has gone along with his heel angle for so long but the thing is, he gets as hot at Hogan eventually and he knows it so he is sticking with it for now. Now, for the few things WCW is doing that are good. Well, the push Jericho is getting is great. Jericho deserves it. I at first didn't like his attittude either but now I am a Jerichoholic. Why? Because Jericho is talented, knows his way around the ring, has a great ring persona, is funny. The list goes on. Jericho is one of the brightest stars in wrestling and if Bischoff is smart he will keep pushing him and if Jericho goes to the WWF I hope Vince does the same. So far, the IV Horsemen angle is fine. Bischoff has slowly progressed from kicking them out to getting kicked out. I myself was laughing when the Minneapolis mayor got in Sleasy E's face. And then Bischoff running after the car? Well, he has practice at it!! I enjoyed the Reed Flair thing although had it been a real fight Bischoff likely would have one because of his karate and kickboxing background. I still think Benoit needs a push and hopefully it may come soon. "Big Mamma Pump" What can I say? She is funny as hell and I can't wait till she pops off and smacks the smile off of Scott's face. WCW did good to bring here in. She has good mike skills and great ring persona. Some people are gonna look at me weird but I like the LWO idea. For one, I like watching the luchadors wrestle. I mean I enjoy watching them fly around the ring, leap over the ropes, twist through the air, and do their manuevers. It is better than watching two big lumbering men trade a few punches and then one kick the other in the face and pin him. Besides, Eddie has great mike skills and once Chavo jumps on board (and he will) look for LWO to get really crazy. Kidman wins a title. Its about time. I like Juvi but I was cheering quite louldly for Kidman. This guy has deserved to win a title for a long time instead of following Raven around. I mean look at his finisher. He could wrench h is back or twist his neck or something doing that but he still does it each and every match. The Shooting Star Press is a hell of a finisher. And Kidman deserves the push he is getting most definitely. The Warrior angle is getting better. At least now he is shaking the ropes, running to the ring, wearing the colorful outfits, and doing the fist pumps like je used to. That is vintage Warrior and I am glad the WCW has seen fit to allow it. Of course the best thing he has done is drop the dumb suit against Ric Flair. I mean listen to the fans response to the Nature Boy.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I hope Bischoff is sitting at his hotel or wherever he is kicking himself for not dropping the suit and bringing Flair back sooner. Now as we go along you will see the Horsemen gain more control, I think. Why? Because they make Bischoff money and that is what he is all about. He wants them there, believe me. He is making money milking this angle though so he is keeping it going. But believe me, pretty soon, the Horsemen will Style and Profile WOOOOOOOOOOO Horsemen Style. Well, that about wraps up this addition of That's the RULZ.
