Come in. Welcome to my home. My name is Goody Winters, but most people
call me the Old Wife. For more than 300 years, I have lived in a saltbox by the
sea in Salem, Massachusetts, with my cat, Salem, who always seems to be getting
into trouble. I am a wise woman, what some people would call a witch. When I'm
not brewing magic potions or casting spells, I trade my wand for a quill and
write stories of mystery, murder and the macabre (with a pinch of science
fiction and fantasy). Salem and I invite you to wander through our house and out
onto our property and read some of the stories I've written. If you enjoy
your visit, feel free to return. I add new stories to the site every
month.
