The Leaning Tower- Il Torre Pendente- is a symbol of Italy itself.

It was begun in 1173 and it's slant was famously used by Galilieo to demonstrate that objects of different mass fall at the same rate.

The Leaning Tower stands in an area called the Campo dei Miracoli (Field of Miracles) which is also home to the grand duomo.

The Bapistery is an odd-looking building that stands opposite the duomo.

The courtyard of the Camposanto, a cemetery which stands on the north side of the Campo dei Miracoli.
