This will be a regular feature of this page where I will relate what I remember of my earliest ancestors and bring up to date the situation of the family today. This will bring to light some of the history that is not known by many, if not all, of the younger generation and also to my children.

Chronologically I should start with my grandparents, both on my father's side and my mother's side, but it is more practical to start with more recent times, like 1950. That way the widespread members of the family will be able to see their relationship to some far away relatives.

I was married to Rose Ekstein, ע"ה, on September 24, 1950. We had three children, Asher, Eliezer and Estelle.

Asher married Chana Deutch ( ע"ה ) in 1973. They had six children.

Tzippy is married to Eliyahu Shuchman. They have  six children, Chana Miriam, Rosey, Reuven Dov, Racheli, Meyer Shmuel and Chasya.

Shimon is married to Gitty Natanzon.They have seven children, Moti, Chani, Shani, Yudi, Michali, Yaeli and Racheli.

Malkie is married to Yochanan Erenst. They have three children, Chani, Avi and Yitz.

Shoshi is married to Dov Bash. She has one child, Avigail, from her first husband, Yonathan Plutzki, and she and Dovi have three boys, Shai, Etai and Ori . Dov has a daughter, Osnot, from his first marriage.

Chumie is married to Tamarah Goldberg. They have six children, Yakov, Tzvi, Chani, Miri, Zevi and Shlomie.

Eti is married to Shukie Heinman. They have three children, Chani, Kobe and Shani.

Eliezer married Sharon Friedlander in 1977. They are divorced. They have four children.

Naftali is married to Rachel Koller . They have two children, Maayan and Ami Yosef. He is the Managing Editor of NGO MONITOR, located in Jerusalem, which promotes debate and accountability of human rights NGO's in the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Shimshon is married to Rachel Bleier. They have a son, Zev. Shimshon is a lawyer and is working at the Cleveland offices of Jones Day, a prestigious international law firm. His wife, Rachael, is between jobs.

Uriel is an accountant and lives in Nashville.

Sarit is a freshman in the medical school located at the Technion in Haifa, Israel.

Estelle married Harvey Posner in 1979. They have four children.

Elanna is a doula (She assists women who are in childbirth).

Chai is married to Rachel Leibowitz. They have three sons, Roni, Eliram and Yair. Chai is an  Associate Rabbi in Beth Tfiloh in Baltimore, Md. Rachel is a school psychologist and now she is working full time taking care of her sons, the house and the Rabbi.

Akiva is a vice president of network services for a major financial institution.

Tzachi is studying at Yeshivat Chovivei Torah the yeshiva that his brother, Chai, reeceived his Smicha.
