Being green is seen with increasing importance recently. In the last few years people are doing more and more to recycle and purchase environmentally friendly products. There is however always more that can be done and some things are so simple and easy that you will wonder why you never did this before.

The one thing better than recycling is to remove the need for the product entirely. For example, at work, it is better to use your own cup from home everyday, rather than recycle the paper cup that you buy from the coffee bar. Using your own cup and making the cup of tea of coffee yourself could save you a couple of pound a day, be more environmentally friendly and if there is a queue at break times, it is probably quicker!

Reading newspapers is seen my most as an essential in the morning to finding out what has happened in the world. This maybe true but consider sharing a newspaper with fellow commuters or reading the newspaper online. Saving paper and money too!

When shopping for food think about the miles that the food has travelled to get to your plate. If you buy items that are in season and from the right place, they will not only be cheaper than supermarkets but will usually taste vastly superior. Look for farmers markets or try organic box schemes where local, in season, fruit and vegetable is delivered Led UV Nail Lamp  straight to your door. Farmers markets are another great idea where local farmers come together to sell local produce direct to you. This cuts out the middleman saving both you, and the farmer money. This is again greener and saving you money.

Another simple change is to switch to energy 36W Led CCFL UV Lamp saving light bulbs. These may initially be more expensive but the savings will easily outweigh the initial costs and if you go to any environmental fairs you can get them for free. Alternatively try eBay, if you buy in bulk from a seller they can be much cheaper than the shops. Energy saving bulbs last a lot longer than standard bulbs too. Although do not place them in areas that are not used that often e.g. Cupboards as energy saving bulbs have a shorter life if they are constantly turned on and off quickly.

Following these simple tips will not only save you money but make you a lot greener. After following these you will wonder why you never did it before! You could use the money you have saved to implement some other green facilities, e.g. home insulation, or just enjoy a few more drinks down the pub!
