Billy Adams is a native resident of Maine but is currently a Junior at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is studying International Relations and Entrepreneurship. His academic interests include gender studies, nontraditional families, Latin American Politics, American History and the influence of entrepreneurs in shaping culture and the marketplace.

Adams is a strong supporter of marriage equality. He worked on the 2009, "Protect Maine Equality" campaign which worked to protect the right of same sex couples to marry in Maine. In addition, he has volunteered on nearly a dozen political campaigns and causes from across the political spectrum. A self described moderate, Adams categorizes his social views as progressive and his economic positions as being responsible. Adams has had the opportunity to meet several political leaders and activists including Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, First Lady Michelle Obama, US Senators Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Christopher Dodd, and popular blogger Meghan McCain.

In his spare time, Adams enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures and places. He has travelled extensively throughout Greece, the Aegean Sea, Quebec, and many parts of the United States. In March, Adams will join a group of Clark Students who plan to work on the Lakota Indian Reservation in Park Ridge, South Dakota for a week.
