I Heard My Lover's Prayer
I am dedicating this to the memory of my late Husband Charles Barcavage
On the snowy hills far far away.
I heard my lover's prayer.
The trees were colorful and in full bloom.
And the skies was the deepest color of blue.
The wind on the hills I could hear. I heard my lover's prayer
so very near.
It was the sweetest prayer that I ever heard.
I knew that I could never be hurt.
I heard my lover tell God.That he loves me so dear.
On the Snowy Hills Far,Far away. I knew that peace was
well on the way. I never felt so secure.
And I knew this was forsure.
On the Snowy Hills.I saw the light.
I blinked twice. when I opened my eyes again.
It was the most quietest night. I heard my lover's prayer.
And I knew that my life is now right!
For I know I am at peace!
