About Us
Temple Grips has been in business since 1976 serving the needs of opticians, optometrist, and industry. A Temple Grip is a soft plastic tube which fits on the ear piece of any kind of glasses and stops them from slipping and making them very comfortable to wear. They were originally designed for opticians and optometrist to give out or sell to customers with poorly fitting glasses. Temple Grips has many names some customers call them boots, tubes, plastic ear pieces. A Temple Grip is a soft flexable tube that will form to fit any shape frames. We make 8 different styles so we have one that will work with any brand or style of glasses be it reading, sport, RX, sun or safety. T.G. are very soft but extremely strong and durable. They are manufactured with a slight tackiness (not sticky) that stops the glasses from slipping. No more slipping down your nose while also taking away the pressure points, Plus adds comfort.
