Martie Santerli sister of ladyfran currently undergoing chemo treatments. I love you little sis
Martha “Martie” Santerli, 53, of Longmont, died January 3, 2008 at Hospice Care Center in Louisville.
She was born March 22, 1954 in Boulder to Donald and Lois (Dalrymple) Santerli.
Martie graduated Boulder High School in 1972. She moved to Longmont in 1977 from Boulder.
Martie was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was an avid volunteer,
volunteering at Longmont United Hospital, Colorado Food Share,
ElderShare and First Evangelical Lutheran Church as a Stephen Minister for many years.
Martie loved the mountains, hiking, beading and jewelry making, dogs, cats and spending time with children.
She was a very loving and well-loved person and made many friends easily, especially at her church and hospital pool group.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Santerli and a son, Thomas Michael Wolny.
Survivors include her daughter, Valerie Wolny; her mother, Lois Santerli;
three sisters, Fran Santerli, Donna Hill and Evie Landin; one niece,
five nephews and their children and her very special friend, Ben Harris.
Special note. On July 5, 2008 Martie's sister, Donna Hill and her husband Mike Hill were killed in a robbery at their home.
