Hello Kitty Umbrella Dress by Shelisa
Fashion is an interesting and fun subject that is viewed differently by many people around the world. I see Fashion as a form of Art. It allows designers to create beautiful, innovative garments and gives everyone the opportunity to express themselves and that is art. This Hello Kitty Umbrella dress is a perfect example of art, because unuasual materials, such as umbrellas, wire and even glue and tape were used to construct it. It was a difficult process creating a dress out of these materials, but it was exciting, new, and I'm definitely pleased with the outcome. Inspired by my young niece and her fascination with Hello Kitty, I created this unique garment to show just how much art and fashion are intertwined.
