The club exist in the heart of Lucknow. The name is Lucknow United because it is a combined effort of Lucknowites. Colleges like La Martiniere,City Montessori,Unity College,Christ Church,St Teresa,St Pauls, St. Francis, Lucknow university,National college have hands in this club. The majority of players may be from La Martiniere college but the club does not represents any college. There are many who do not play but their support is very important for this club. The club was established on 15th august 2006 has home ground chowk stadium.Club is open for all lucknowites to support their home team. We all need to improve football in India and bring this game in the blood and streets of India.
