Hi there!

My name is Trudy. I am 33yo and live in Victoria, Australia.

Why, you ask yourself, have I created a website? Well, the reason is simple. I would like to promote myself to any prospective employer who wishes to employ me to work from home.

I live in a remote area of Victoria, and this is why I seek work from home. I have been previously employed in the Government and private sectors, so my administration skills are very fluent. My areas of expertise are:

  • Data Entry
  • Typing Speed of 70wpm with 98% accuracy
  • Telemarketing
  • Database & Record Management
  • Reception
  • Organisation of travel & accommodation and diary management
  • Appointment Setting
  • Market Research
  • Business to Business & Business to Consumer telephony
  • Administrative duties, such as handling of correspondence, customer enquiries, typing reports/minutes etc

I have ADSL2+ Broadband Internet connection. USB connected headset (I also have a headset that connects directly into a corded phone). I have my own Australian Business Number - registered as a Sole Trader and am available to start immediately for the right employer. I do have some things I would like to request before discussing any contract work. They are:

  • 15 hours  per week minimum
  • AU$20-35 GROSS per hour (will only accept commission pay only structure when there is a weekly/fortnightly retainer)
  • Payments need to be received into my bank account weekly or fortnightly at the latest - please see my reasons listed below.

Due to problems arising out of previous "online" employment, I reserve the right to request signed contracts prior to work commencing stating hours, pay structure, term of employment and company details. Your company details will be verified with the Australian Government prior to taking on any contractual work. This reason should be clear, but I will state them anyway. If as an employer you expect employees to be honest, reliable and deliver quality services, then I can only ask the same of any respectable employer in return. I have had so many problems with online employers who state that "yes, there's plenty of work available - you will never be without hours" - a couple of weeks later? no hours available. "Yes, you will be paid weekly/fortnightly" - a fortnight later "oh sorry, once you lodge your tax invoice you are paid a month from that date" or "sorry, we're having problems with our payment system, you'll receive your payment shortly". NO. I will NOT accept these responses, as I would not expect you to receive "excuses" for sloppy or untimely work. I do hope you understand, and I do hope that as an employer you will recognise my need to be "up front".
