I'd like to officially invite you to join me for celebrating the Fourth of July on our island on the west coast!
Dan May Island is a 72 acre private island paradise accessible only by boat or seaplane. Located in northern Levy County, on the western coast of north central Florida. The Dixie County town of Suwannee, six miles north of Dan May Island, is the closest town from which to launch a boat for the trip out the historic Suwannee River.
OUR CARPOOL can meet on the 3rd at Horseshoe Beach at our place there that would sleep 10 people by itself with A/C and comfy sleeping. Then, we'd get up on the 4TH OF JULY (Saturday), go to Dan May Island, and get a barbeque going, do some fishing, boating, set off some fireworks and light a campfire, play some music... we have our own boat with a large lodge on the island. we COULD stay the night, but the lodge on Day May Island doesn't have a shower or A/C, so--we could camp over night or return to the mainland.
