Mood:  energetic

The 'Five Pillars' of Islam are the foundation of Muslim life:

	Faith or belief in the Oneness of God and the finality of the prophethood of Muhammad;
	Establishment of the daily prayers;
	Concern for and almsgiving to the needy;
	Self-purification through fasting; and
	The pilgrimage to Makkah for those who are able.

Mood:  a-ok

Ramadan this year was a little different because my littist sibiling could participate. For those of you who do not know Ramadan is the ninth month of the muslim year where you fast during the day and you can eat at night.

Mood:  happy

I am muslim most people when they think of muslim they think of people who who dress different but i dress in jeans and tank-topsbut i also where the traditional dress(for certian holidays). I was born in saudi arabia but my parents and i moved to america when i was 4. i lived in the town of tayma. My father had grown up there and my mother moved there when they got married (arranged). She had come from the town of mughayra.
