Imagine you could bring back a piece after you
lost it, and moreover it could appear anywhere on the board. That is the
idea behind "Resurrection chess". How does this work you're wondering?
Well "Resurrection chess" uses "Resurrector pieces" shaped like the flowing:
White Resurrector Black
Resurrector
The rules:
I: This Game is played like orthodox chess unless otherwise stated.
II: Resurrector moves to a square not occupied, and resurrects
the last piece captured, that's not a pawn.
III: White Resurrector can not resurrect a black piece.
IV: Black Resurrector can not resurrect a white piece.
V: Each side has two Resurrectors, which sit on the side of the
board. (note: You do not even have to have piece shape like the diagram,
you can use two pennies or two dimes, if you want.)
VI: For notation see example below.
VII: You can not call draw by insufficient material if your opponent
has a Resurrector left.
Limited Resection Chess
The above can be considered too easy hence this
sub version.
Rules:
I: All rules same as above except were stated
II: The Resurrector can not resurrect a piece which would deliver check
or checkmate, on the turn it is resurrected.
