The TIP program is run by the Mustang Heritage Foundation in hopes to place gentled Mustangs into homes all over the country. TIP stands for Trainer Incentive Program. Trainers take on a wild untouched mare or gelding, and gentle them to the TIP standards. A TIP Mustang will accept touch all over - grooming, be halter broken, pick up all four feet, and load a trailer, as a minimum.
