“guys, naog na daw”

Does this sound familiar to you? It’s been the famous line for the past weeks. Students are waking up early to go to school and to do what? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.  It’s a common sight for students to just sit around, doing nothing and just wasting time in school wherein reality, they could actually learn a thing or two. All the teachers are excited about this “theatrical play” they’re all trying to hype. And guess what, the majority of the students are stupid enough to actually fall for it. I have nothing against the play alone. But prioritizing it against education is simply unacceptable. All everyone seems to care about is this damn play. On the contrary, it is nothing but a sorry excuse for laziness for both parties. For most students it is rather a silver lining simply because… No classes! Well, speaking as a student who loves to get away from my classes, it is a good effect. But as a graduating student, Hell No! Wake up guys! You’re all undermining the exact thing we’re in school for.

Education is what we’re all here for, and not some damn play. To whoever might tell me the teachers are giving “100 points” for your participation. Well, if you give me this reason, then it is a proven fact you are an idiot. So let’s say that your grades are at stake here and this play is the only thing to raise your grades. I’d rather fail. If you agreed with this arrangement, then it simply signifies that you value grades more than your education. Think about it, I’m not the only one who feels this way. I’m simply the only one with the balls to actually speak up. It seems that we are sent to school to earn high grades. Not to learn.

You might ask; “are you sure about this?” Well, pretty much because as I’m writing this, I’m currently in my school sitting in a table, while half of the students are practicing their parts for the play. And the other half? Cyberia, PCgamingg, Armenia’s, and roaming around the city.

To conclude, I am merely stating an opinion. Everything here is simply a pigment of my thinking and is not meant to hurt anyone. If someone got offended by this, I humbly send my apologies and my sympathy for your small yet sensitive mind. If you disagree with me, I have no beef with you, I only think you’re a complete INSIPID not to even have the slightest idea of how a school works.

We are here to learn, not to work.

Education is simply more important than higher grades.
