I say practice makes perfect--
Others say there is no such thing,
But I know for a fact they are wrong,
Because to me, you are perfect...
When you think you've really done wrong,
I try to hide the fact I think it's cute,
I don't want to make you mad--
I try not to smile when you make it sound worse than reality.
I have felt pain, in many different ways,
I have felt pain from ~us~ but never you--
I blame the cupid who shot the arrow,
Not any person or any knife in my back.
I say you're my everything--
Some say I could do better,
But I know they haven't a clue,
Because to me, there is no 'better'...
You're the only one that makes me so happy,
The only one who can make me laugh,
When I feel like crying my heart out,
You're the only one that can make me blush so much.
The only person in the world I trust with my life,
The only one who has ever cared about me so much--
You are the only one who I can say "I Love You" to,
And I wonder how they think there can be better.
I say love is everlasting--
People claim they've found it's end,
But I know they're just bluffing,
Because for me, our love will never end...
The late nights sneaking around,
Just to think spend a few more moments with you,
Or to listen to music because it all says your name,
These eternal nights, they seem to never end.
We aren't together as we used to be, true,
But it seems we're almost as close as before,
When I know we're so far apart
All I have to do is close my eyes, and you're here.
I know what love is like,
I know it never ends, though sometimes fades--
I know it can hurt, but more often it brings me joy,
But most of all, I know that
I love you.
