Eighth Grade Trip to Washington, D.C. and New York
New York | Washington D.C. |

Overview of Trip

My Eighth grade class from Dorris-Eaton took a trip to Washington, D.C and New York this spring. The week of May second through ninth we toured and vistied various sites in both cities, getting used to the fast pace of New York City, and the slow, respectful one of Washington, D.C. We saw many interesting sites in both places and I will try to convey our experiences to you the best I can. These are some pictures of the various places we went. From the left are the Lincoln Memorial, a plaque at a World War II memorial, a group shot in Pentagon City Mall, and the Capitol Building. More specifics about Washington and New York can be found by clicking the Washington/New York tab in the upper left corner.
