Welcome to The History Stones Web Page. What are the history stones? Who carved them? Are they carved or created by some other forces? Were they created by the ancient Clovis People? Native Americans or are they simply natural aberations. The resemblance to human faces and figures is obvious once you look at them from the correct angles and under proper lighting. By firelight some of them seem to take on living aspects. Were they meant to record historical events, fantasy or mythical stories? Or are they ancient works of art?
