One web page editor I found is called
Dreamweaver. This editor has a feature called Live View which
is found to be twice as fast than opening up a browser and viewing
your page. Live view lets you see the results of the changes
your making in Live View which is a lot easier than opening up a
browser and more than twice as fast. Also with a tool called In
Context Editing, you can define editable regions in your web pages
that almost anyone can edit directly from a browser, without any
additional software. In Context Editing preserves your design
integrity, while saving you time.
Also another
Web Page creator and editor I found is FrontPage which is also known
as a web site design tool. Although this program is also a management
tool. With FrontPage editor you can add information and materials,
rename headers and tittles, delete content, or move around files.
One thing that limits you is that these management features are
not accessible when working on a single file but only when you open
and work on the FrontPage web site. The FrontPage web site contains
other Web sites, along with a variety of web pages, graphics,
documents, and multimedia and almost any other kind of file you
want.
Another Web Page designer and editor is called Kompozer. This utility program has been called a “complete web authoring system that combines web file management and easy-to-use web page editing tools”. Kompozer is very easy to use and understand, it is good for the non computer smart users who want to create a nice web site without needing to know HTML or web coding. Kompozer also has a new list of colors and you are now able to pick a color from its red blue and green components or use its hue saturation and brightness or just use your mouse to pick the color you want.
