Welcome to the Temple of Kemet.

This site, serves as an online temple to the Kemetic gods of Ancient Egypt. We are currently under construction, however at a later date plan on including multiple features to the site, including Ritual Services for sale, and an occult "Training" system, that will consist of a basic development routine that should train the new practitioner to a decent level of ability and knowledge that they may continue in there occult path without struggling from minor problems that plague many of us.

Our site however, is first and foremost a devotional one. I will be writing on my views and experiences with deities, primarily the God Anpu (Anubis) who is my Patron deity, who is loved as father, lord and lover in his divinity and beauty, but also other deities such as Sekhmet who has given me much help, and the Ennead. It is of a Anuninan/ Heliopolitan theological stance, for those who don't know what that means, the theology of kemet was not set in stone and was based on regional laws and temple. These regions were called "nomes" and each Nome had its own Totem, be it Plant or Animal. A nome is similar to an american state, and each one also held its own stance on theology, and had a patron deity. For example, Anpu was the Patron Deity of the 17th Nome of Ancient  Upper (southern) Egypt. These Nomes were taken seriously too, when inhabitants started eating Fish called the Oxyrhynchos, the inhabitants of the neighbouring Nome who saw it as sacred Killed Dogs in return starting a civil war between the two nomes until the Nisuit (Pharoh) sent soldiers in to quell the fighting.

Therefore, when you read information from this site, it is most likely based on a Anunian perspective. This does not make it certain though, for example some of my work is based on the Greco-Egyptian system of Hermetic Alchemy. However, most of my work is either personal or Anunian, and always fits into a Kemetic Polytheist viewpoint. Although the intent of our occult system is a little different.

Our philosophy is to achieve union with a deity, usually your patron. This is not against Kemetic Beliefs, as many deceased were considered to unite with Ausar (Osiris) in the afterlife, they certainly did so temporarily. However the goal isn't just in death, just as the Nisuit personified Herwu Sa Auset (Horus son of Isis), we attempt to embody our deity and become that you manifest him upon the physical world. This is NOT possession, but rather you become a part of the god and that connection to him blossoms your own divine spark.

The way I have described the above, is a gross simplification, but actually reveals much of the technique that a Kemetic Ritual Magician would of used. It follows the procedure of Kemetic Ritual and also makes use of it in a way that many modern groups seem to forget.
