Are you still carrying around those stupid eggs? Steve said with little concern. Jeremy pulled them out of the sack and examined them, Yeah, I am. You can’t name them Tweedledee and Tweedledum; those names are taken, Jesse said as she came closer to take a look at the colorful eggs. Jeremy held one of them out to show the others. This one is warm. I think it will hatch soon. I don’t think the other one will. You’re such an idiot, Steve said. You will soon be a mother again. He scratched his head and scrunched his eyebrows together. Let’s see—Mom Greer! Jeremy stood up and took a step toward Steve. Jesse got between them and said, Let it go, Jeremy. Steve is just being Steve. Steve wouldn’t let it rest. No, no, no, I’ve got it: GMG, General Mom Greer. Still trying to defuse the situation, Jesse said to Jeremy, What will you name this little creature? I won’t know until I see it. Jeremy sat back down. Matt took the discussion back to where it started. We’ll stay here just long enough to sharpen our skills. Then we move on. Right? Jesse agreed. Practice makes permanent! She kept her worries to herself. This is really frustrating, she thought. We need to do something but have Tanki Online Crystal Generator no idea what we should do. Do we stay? Do we leave? Do we practice? Will we be attracting Torron to this beautiful little family? Are we putting them in danger by staying here? How do we Tanki Online Crystal Generator know what’s right?   Hunter The sun was setting in the west. The Alliance had built a campfire next to the small creek. Matt said, I’m getting better, but I feel I’m not ready. You’re right. We’re all better, but not good enough, Steve agreed. I have no way of practicing my skills unless one of you would like to volunteer, Jesse said. I could cut you up and then heal you. What do you think? They laughed at that. How long should we stay here? Jesse asked, concern in her voice. It’s been a week since we said we should stay a little longer. We don’t want to bring Torron’s attention down on Maggie and her family. Jeremy jumped from a sitting position on the ground to his knees, opened his knapsack, and peered inside. It was dark inside the knapsack, but he could see two bright green eyes blinking at him from within. Should I reach in? he thought. Will it bite me? Oh, boy, what do I do now? Jesse asked, What is it? Matt waited for Jeremy to answer. When none came, he asked, Jeremy, what’s in the sack? I’m not sure, Jeremy finally answered. I can’t see inside, but one of the eggs has hatched. Steve flippantly said, Dump it out on the ground. He picked up a large stick and got ready to kill whatever came out of the sack. Waving Steve off, Jeremy carefully and slowly tipped the knapsack over. All of his stuff poured out, including the unhatched egg, which rolled a couple of feet before it came to rest. The empty shell was also with the rest of the stuff, but nothing else was there. Jesse asked, Where is it? Jeremy poked the pile with a stick. Then the sack, which Jeremy was holding upside down, started to move. The movement startled Jeremy, and he dropped the sack. Steve raised the stick again. As soon as the sack hit the ground, a small snake darted out and went straight up inside Jeremy’s pant leg. Before he could react, the snake raced up his leg, past his rather loose-fitting belt, and under his shirt to his neck. The snake came Tanki Online Crystal Generator out from under his collar, gently wrapped itself partway around Jeremy’s neck, and peeked out through his hair just above his right ear. Surprised, Jeremy froze in position, his eyes wide open. What do I do? He didn’t attack me, so maybe he’s friendly. He slowly reached up and removed the little guy from around his neck. The snake and Jeremy looked at each other and quickly bonded—mother and baby. Tanki Online Crystal Generator Jeremy said to the snake, Well, Hunter, you finally showed up. Jesse asked, You take one look at the snake and name it Hunter? Yep, just like that. Jeremy held the Tanki Online Crystal Generator snake out at arm’s length to take a better look. Hunter was a beautiful snake. Two small points protruded from a place on its rectangular head where ears might have been. The mesmerizing green eyes pointed straight ahead. The snake had a typical forked tongue that was always in motion, in and out. The thin, eight-inch-long body was covered in shimmering, slick-looking, blue-green skin.
