If anyone looking over this website only decides to read one or two of the ten posted websites, make this one of them. This is an article wrote by Lesley-Ann Jones (picture in Photo Tab). It is based on her experiences that may have involved the curse. She is not one to fall for paranormal beliefs, but it seems that the Curse of King Tut is one that she questions. She had found some family heirlooms of her ex-husbands which consisted of a few artifacts from King Tut's Tomb. Since she has found the artifacts she has been plagued terrible illnesses, freak accidental deaths of close friends, diseases, and a divorce.
Another point that she brings up in this article is that the tomb was tested of any bacteria at the time of the first opening. "Research into the life of Alfred Lucas revealed that he had been right-hand man to Howard Carter, the Egyptologist who discovered the boy king's tomb in 1922. It was Lucas who famously demonstrated that when the inner chamber of the tomb was opened for the first time, there were no bacteria present. The tomb could not, therefore, have been broken into and plundered prior to the official opening, as had hitherto been believed. Henry Bunker's swab-analysis of the walls, floors and furniture of the tomb confirmed this. His tests altered the understanding of everything that had happened during and after the tomb's discovery."

The current Lord Carnarvon became the first family member in over 85 years since his great grandfather's death to step inside the tomb. This is an article of his experience visiting the tomb for the first time. He believes that it is an honor to be connected to such apart of history. He questions the curse after his visit saying to the media, "On balance I don't believe it was a curse that killed my great-grandfather. But now, having been inside the tomb he discovered, I just better hope that I'm right," he added. Just the very thought of being in the tomb gives off that certain questionable feeling to the million dollar question in this case. Is the curse real?
