How you swim breaststroke fast?

The breaststroke is the one of fastest and competitive swimming stroke. Its movements can be quite difficult for the beginner to master. No doubt this is the slowest swimming stroke but it does not mean that it cannot be swim powerfully and at speed.   First of all you have to set standards of breaststroke swimmers; it may be basic, intermediate or advanced. Some elements are including swimming breaststroke fast but main elements are three. These are discussing below:

  1. Generate power with legs and arms: the first element is to generate lots of power with your legs and arms. Breaststroke actually generates the more power than any other stroke. Your technique is so important when you are trying to generate power. We often see the Sydney Swimmers race in local events that try and rush their strokes to generate as much power as possible but actually they are producing less power. The power parts of the stroke are in-sweep with your arms and kicks. During this, it is important to not push under your chin and as you sweep the arms in, squeeze the elbow and get the hand back to start as fast as possible. Then generate power with your legs, it is important to finish each kick off so that your feet and legs are together. Second kick is start before the previous one has finished and so on.
  2. Reducing your resistance: the second element is to reduce the existence that needs to be discussed. Because your body moved away a streamline position so that there is lots of existence created in breaststroke. In breast stroke your head need to lift in order to breathe and your hips automatically pushed down which causes resistance in the water. Therefore, it is important to finish each stroke off completely so that your hips get back to a streamline position. As your feet whip around that will allow your feet and hips to return to a high streamline position. Many people rush to get into the next stroke without finishing the previous one off. As a result their hips gets lower and lower and they actually move up and move down than they do further swimming.
  3. To do quickly: the last element is to do above both elements quickly and effectively without losing the power. If you are able to keep your power high and resistance low than quickly you perform each stroke faster. There is a key you need to keep in mind “DON’T RUSH, MORE HASTE= LESS SPEED”. No doubt swimming is a unique sport as well as highly technical and requires highest level of fitness and power. During training you need to incorporate both of these elements properly. Always sure the length of your stroke. This will result in fast Swimming coaching Sydney .

Breaststroke is usually more heavily muscles than swimmers of any other stroke because of the resistance and the power of the legs and arms. And it is approved by the researchers that breaststroke takes more strength and more energy than any other stroke.
