First I want to welcome you to super saver 101! Class will begin in just a moment, just kidding. I just want to take a moment to introduce myself and tell you a little about how to get the most out of this site.
I'm a very happily married 20 year old with a 2 year old daughter and a baby on the way. I was a stay-at-home mom for a while and wanted to get back to work. During this pregnancy I had to take a medical leave from work and stay on bed rest for the remainder of the pregnancy which ended up being about 3 months! During those 3 months I have become the savviest person anyone has ever known... well, I became pretty savvy if I do say so myself. My family has always poked a little fun at my coupon-clipping crave and even laughed about my brainy ideas for 'going green'. Well, who's laughing now when I'm coming home from the grocery store saving my new record of nearly $100 and only spending $92! On top of my great savings at the grocery store, I have gotten over $100 cash-back from my Christmas shopping in December, numerous free samples, toys and books, coupons, free full-size products, gift cards, and even some lovely legal tender. You won't believe how much I have saved on our energy and water bills, too!
This new year I made a resolution to help OTHERS during this economic troubled time. That's why I have put together this site giving you all the ins and outs of what I do, how I do it, and ways you can, too. There's also a part of this page for making money at home, not just saving it! Don't forget that I don't spend money to make money on the internet... so don't think you'll be whipping out a credit card.
Making Money Through Sites!
Now, I already told you there is no need to get out the credit cards! I am a member of a lot of different sites that allow me to generate a very decent income. The first thing you need to do is sign up for a free email account from a host such as yahoo. Use only this email for these sites in order to stop all the junk mail getting into your personal email inbox!
One of my favorite ways to get some extra cash is as easy as opening my emails... literally! With hits4pay they send you emails and all you have to do is look at the email and click the confirmation link to prove you opened the email and this will redirect you to another page that you can read or 'X' out of.
GPT, known as 'get-paid-to' sites, are sites that pay you for clicking on links, registering at other web pages, taking surveys (that can be regular surveys or more-or-less clicking buttons type of surveys), and signing up for free trials. Some ask you to purchase something or sign up for a membership. My tip... don't sign up for a membership unless its something you wanted and were going to do anyway. Mostly because I don't see a point in spending money to make money when it comes to GPT sites. These normally offer the most points, credits, or cash. Free trials are great as well, just remember to cancel the trial or opt out when the trial is over or else it could continue your membership and charge your credit card.
I sign up for many sites at once so I will have more sources of income and not have to wait forever for just one site to reach the minimum payout. Remember to use your new non-personal email account. One of my favorite sites is cashcrate which pays you by check at the minimum payout of $20 and currently gives you $1 just for signing up and filing out your profile. You can also choose to only see 100% free offers, only free trial offers, or both!
Online Shopping
Are you worried about gas prices rising? Then make the switch to online shopping! I promise it's just as fun, a whole lot less time consuming, easier than going out in public with the kids, and you can't get as great of deals if you use my 'shopping system'.
First, click up through Big Crumbs. It's fast and free! The CrumbSaver gives you a higher rebate back on personal purchases. It has an extensive list of retails like walmart, target, diapers.com, toys and babys 'R' us, and many many more! All you have to do when shopping is log in to your account, click on the retailer you want to shop from and it will redirect you to that page. That's it. Once you make your purchase a certain percentage (varying from retailer to retailer) will be credited to your account. About a month after the last day of the current month, you will receive that amount in your paypal account (which is also free to sign up for) which you can then transfer into your bank account. You can also shoot me an e-mail which will request that I refer you to another program. The reason I'm not releasing the name is because I wouldn't get the referral points if you went straight to the site... and this is my source of income, right? Anyway, this site is great to use if for some reason Big Crumbs does not have the retailer you are looking for, this one might. There are also easy ways to earn lots of points such as installing a toolbar on your internet or just taking a quick survey. You can cash in your points for over 70 different store gift cards!
I also love Retailmenot which provides online coupon codes for various retailers. Use them at the end of check out while using your Big Crumbs account and not only get some money back, but also get some extra savings!
FREE STUFF!
The picture on the right shows your what I have gotten for free. No, that doesn't seem like much does it? Well, that's because its only from this past WEEK! Coupons, diapers, lotions, toothpaste and floss, Tide laundry detergent, liners and pads, and a magazine. OH, and a $10 gift card to Starbucks! Things I have gotten in the past include a 20 pound bag of dog food, 3 jumbo packs of diapers, hair shampoo and conditioners, more coupons, toys for my daughter, crayons, coloring books, baby wipes, sippy cups, more gift cards, and much much more!
