Dr. Subhash C. Arya is currently Associate Professor at Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, School of Technology, NEHU, Shillong. Before joining NEHU, he was Assistant Professor from January 2007 to February 2010 at Electronics Department, Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad. He worked as a Research Scholar on Modeling and Design of EDFA for WDM and DWDM Optical Fiber Communication System during 2004-2008 in Electronics Department, ISM, Dhanbad. Dr. Arya has also worked in Aditya Institute of Technology, Delhi as a lecturer from Sept. 2003 to March 2004. He received PhD (Electronics Engg), B.Tech and Diploma in ECE Engg from ISM Dhanbad, GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi and BTE Delhi in the year 2009, 2003, and 2000, respectively. He has about 24 publications in International Journals, International/national conference etc. He is a member of OSA, OSI and IEEE EDS societies. He is also very active executive member of NEHU Teacher Association (NEHUTA).
