The St. louis Blues returned from the All-Star break to host the LA Kings at Scottrade Friday Night, Feb 3, 2012. In a tightly contested, fast-paced game the Blues would draw first blood, with Jamie Langenbrunner recording his 4th goal on the season via a one-timer Slapshot Brett Hull style on a beautiful feed from Matt D'Agostini who barely escaped a hipcheck from Kings D Drew Doughty in the process. Alex Pietrangelo would pick up the secondary assist on the play, his 17th of the season. And that's all the Blues would need for the "W" as Jaroslav Halak was sensational, stopping all 22 shots faced, thrilling us with atleast 3 HUGE left pad saves to record his 5th Shutout of the season and ultimately crown the Kings!
