Singers:
There is an adult choir that sings at the Christmas Eve Midnight Mass (at 10 p.m.) and the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday (at 7 p.m.). All adults are welcome to join. You do not have to have a solo voice to sing with us. You do not need to know how to read music. Rehearsals start about 8 - 10 weeks before the date they sing and are on Sundays at 9 a.m. We usually have a big rehearsal scheduled separately to accommodate those who cannot come on Sunday morning. Please see me even if you can't make the rehearsal time. I always welcome those who would like to sing on any given Sunday or Saturday, too. It could be solo (cantor) or in a group. We would rehearse as many times as needed before the date(s) you sing.
Instruments:
We are always looking for instruments to fill out our sound. ANY time of the year would be WONDERFUL! Rehearsal beforehand is a must, as many as is needed for you to feel comfortable, and I would provide all the music. Almost any instrument is welcome. You should be playing for at least a year, maybe two, before you have the confidence to play in a church setting. If you're not sure, you can bring something to play for me. I have easy and hard music for any instrument.
Children:
See me if any of your children would like to play or sing at any of the Masses, including the ones with the adult choir. There would be to be a parent present at practice.
