Steamboat Springs Colorado is a bucolic and iconic community located just north of Rabbit Ears pass in Northern Colorado. Most of the residents live year in the community and work in various service industries.
Steamboat Springs pulls in many visitors from across the globe. The local international airport is situated in the town of Hayden just about 25 minutes outside of town.
Each year, visitors from the deep south (Texas, Louisiana, Georgia), Europe (England, Germany) and the South Pacific (Australia, New Zealand) enjoy the slopes and apre-ski atmosphere. They are virtually never disappointed!
The town itself is just minutes from world class skiing that is virtually guaranteed from Thanksgiving to mid-April each year. Each year, typically 300+ inches of snow falls on the slopes and great skiing can be had both on-trail and in the many "off-piste" glades the ski resort has to offer.

Johnny B Goods Diner - affordable comfort food, adult milk shakes and one of the best breakfasts in town!
Steamboat Ski and Bike Care - a great ski (and bike) shop - has downtown and mountain locations. One of their greatest strengths is custom boot fitting - and with an on mountain location, all you need do is walk off the slopes and into their shop for custom adjustments!
Mountain Brew Coffee Shop - great coffee, good eats, and nice atmosphere. Open into the late afternoon. Enjoy the latest brew and some good conversation!
Steamboat Snow Removal - Own or opening a business in town? Near town? Or... own property you need cleared from all the fluffy white stuff that falls all winter? Steamboat Snow Removal is worth knowing! They'll "clear your path" and do it reliably and affordably.
