Life held in a cubicle may be boring for Staples. You are situated, relatively unused, in a darker cube while some other in an Oxford shirt types away at his high-tech Desktop. You used to have all the glory, today you keep close track of as Keyboard and Mouse hog all the attention. Even Pen gets some affection. But, as Staples, you get to sit in dusty Swingline Stapler awaiting the occasional testimonial that calls for one of your reliable brethren. Alas, those calls of obligation are few in number, and you throw away most of your time dwarfed by Mr. Screen.

You have different feelings for your buddy, Paper. You will attempt to work together well, but hes an office floozy who fraternizes with all the items you're not tight with. Printer ink. Fax Machine. Pen. Papers an office hero, and all wants to work with him. The globe is moving quickly towards the digital spectrum, yet Paper still plays an intrinsic role in every office corner. Staples time is waning. Some offices might depend on you, but needless to say, you get stuck at a task where your services are rarely necessary. Instead, you lie bored listening to that fellow type on Keyboard.

You've heard the stories. Other Staples being transferred to high-power executives meetings, being brought on sale pitches, and even some being brought overseas to an foreign factory. They're commissioned with vital tasks. You're left irrelevant by technology. You sit towards the end of the importance ladder, right above Scissors. Its a humble place, but you know your time can come. An momentous document will roll around, and you'll be called to do what you do most legit. Until then, just sit tight squeezed in next to your Staples friends, and if all goes well, you'll lock up a document that'll be delivered straight to the DIRECTOR.
