Tippmann has been supplying
paintball markers, accessories, and attachments since 1986. Their main goal is to supply cheap, but
durable paintball markers with high-quality performance. Originally Tippmann supplied replicas
of real firearms. However with the
new sport of paintball being created, they began to manufacture paintball
markers. Tippmann prides their markerÕs durability. These include the standard weather resistant valves, strong
marker finishes, and that they are made with todayÕs paintball players in mind.
Tippmann C-3
This
is one of TippmannÕs older markers, released in 2005. It has a pump-action firing style, which gives it an
old-school feel, but like most Tippmann markers, it is very durable. It is capable of using compressed air,
CO2, and propane. The
propane-enhanced technology allows this marker to shoot about 50,000 paintballs
on 12-once tank of propane.

Tippmann SL-68 II
This another one of the
older markers produced by Tippmann.
It is very accurate, making up for the pump-action. It is field-strippable and also
includes the durability that the company is known for. It is very light making it easy to
move, so it is m ore recommended for woods-ball. It does have some weaknesses because it is not compatible
with modern hoppers. Overall, it
is cheap in price, but is a very good marker.

Tippmann 98 Custom
This marker is a very
unique one. It is heavy but
durable as usual. It is a very
good marker especially if you are willing to customize it. This marker was made to be upgraded, so
you will need to put a lot of though into this one. You should make it reflect your own strategies and personality. Overall, this a good marker without
upgrades, but with upgrades will improve the marker to fit your type of play.

Tippmann A-5
This marker improves on the
98 customs strengths, but also increases the weaknesses. It is the most customizable marker on
the market today and is very accurate but heavy. Its cyclone feed technology makes fixing a jam in the hopper
as easy as pushing a button. It
usually comes with the grip to improve accuracy. Hopper is relatively small, but that is not a huge
problem. Overall, this marker is
one that you would mostly use for woods-ball.

Tippmann X-7
This marker once again is
an improvement from its predecessor.
It is lighter than the A-5, but does not sacrifice any accuracy. The hopper capacity was also improved. This marker is compatible to most A-5
upgrades, but still is less customizable.
This marker also comes with a standard shroud and fake magazine that
holds a small kit for easy fieldstrip-ability and adjusting FPS. Overall, this marker replaces some of
the A-5Õs customization for a boost in almost every other aspect of the marker.

Project Salvo
This marker is basically an
upgraded alpha black. It is
durable and highly customizable. It
is designed like the AR-15 but is not easy to clean. It fits the barrel thread of the 98 custom, however, that
makes it hard to find modern barrels for this marker. The marker is accurate, so you probably will not need to buy
another barrel anyway. Unlike most
Tippmann markers this one does not come with the standard cyclone feed
system. Overall, this is a very
accurate and lie-like marker.

Alpha Black
This marker was designed to
be similar to the U.S. ArmyÕs M-16.
It is light, durable, and accurate. Even though this marker is well made
it suits few upgrades and accessories. Overall, this marker is well made, but
needs some improvement.

TPX Pistol
This is TippmannÕs newest
paintball pistol. It is highly accurate and durable like the normal paintball
markers. It is lighter than most paintball pistols and provides the option of
using a CO2 cartridge or
external line.

Tippmann X-7 Phenom
This is TippmannÕs latest
and greatest invention. This marker is everything the X-7 wasnÕt. It is lighter
and more accurate thanks to its Flex valve technology. It is shorter than the
X-7 making better for close-quarters play, but does not reduce accuracy.
Overall, this is a great paintball marker.
