Take 2
Mood:  not sure
I went back to Weight Watchers, this time going to the one in West Springfield in January of the following year.  I had gained all but 11lbs back.  I stayed for meetings this time.  The group was pretty large and I never spoke.  I just went, weighed in and stayed for the meeting.  I wasn't inspired......and decided after about a month(and losing 5 lbs)that I could do it on my own.

The real beginning
Mood:  irritated
My then friend Mark and I had discussed possibly joining Weight Watchers.  Then, one day he said we were going to go join.  I wasn't prepared!  I wasn't ready!  My insides were screaming~you're not ready!  I was scared and didn't want to go...but I did because I was too chicken to say anything....

I stepped on the scale.  329lbs!!!  I could not believe it.  I weighed more then I ever thought I would.  I weighed more then Mark did.

Over the course of the next year or so, I learned all about Weight Watchers and Mark and I went to the weigh ins every Thursday.  We never stayed for a meeting.  I lost about 56 lbs.  Then, our friendship ended.  I went to Weight Watchers for a few weeks by myself...but eventually dropped out.

A New Beginning...
Mood:  happy

I had plastic surgery(yes, I just said "I had plastic surgery")on Tuesday, November 11, 2008.  I had a panniculectomy and a brachioplasty which was performed by Dr. Melissa Johnson at Baystate.  It was my "final" step to the new me.  It has been a long road, one that has had many ups and downs but one that I am glad is nearing it's end.  I lost over 150 lbs on Weight Watchers over the course of 8 years.

I thought it would be a good idea to write a book about my journey.  If my journey can help someone, I would be more then honored.
