South Asian Studies | Their Care And Developments


There are hundreds of NGOs in South Asia and not all of them are the same. They differ from each other in many ways. The main difference would be their aim and goal that they are working towards the way they operate and implement their programs. However, the main aim of all these NGO would be to help people and others who are in some kind of a problem and needy.

The aim of  “South Asian studies“ is to throw light on various projects from south asia which need help in development. Including the areas of the  schools, rural development projects, orphanages and charitable hospitals. Its also aims to go indepth and study the critical areas which need immediate attention. We would like to bridge this gap by bringing experts from various fields and collaberating with professionals from various sectors. It is quote of South Asian Studies "Starting from within, working in a circle, in a sacred manner, we develop and heal ourselves, our relationships, and the world."


South Asian Studies” helps and develops the region Bangladesh, Bhutan, India Maldives, Nepal,  Pakistan and Sri Lanka. South Asia has one of the highest child malnutrition rate in the world.  The projects of South Asian Studies are Modern  Public schools, Skateistan, Rethinking Afghanistan, Environmental Climatic changes,  Social networking Projects.


South Asian Studies works with recognized leaders to improve the quality of education for girls and  children from disadvantaged groups.  We emphasize innovation in all our work, introducing teachers and students to new technology, and to new ways of learning. We advance the understanding of the Internet, social networking, and social media for the promotion of human rights, child protection, youth empowerment, and democratic participation among Ethnic Minority and Indigenous youth within their communities in Southeast Asia.


In South Asian Stuides  “Ms. Anuradha  Koirala and Andeisha  Farid “  both are reffered as the Regional heros of Souht Asian Studies . Ms. Anuradha Koirala is the Founder and Executive Director of Maiti Nepal.  The former English teacher, Ms. Koirala started Maiti Nepal in a small house in Kathmandu with her own savings. Today she is a widely recognized activist and lecturer who has dedicated her life to combating the sexual exploitation of women and children.


Andeisha Farid is the founder and Executive Director of Afghan Child Education and Caring Organization, AFCECO (www.afceco.org). She is, an extraordinary woman from Afghanistan, who’s taken great risks to educate the next generation, one girl at a time. Together, they point the way to a future where progress is shared and prosperity is sustainable”. Today, AFCECO runs 11 orphanages in Afghanistan and refugee camps in Pakistan with 600 children of diverse ethnicities and has employed nearly 200 people who are mostly widows and university students.


SAS works with a range of organisations including government departments, overseas ministries, embassies, private sector companies, charities and NGO’s as well with other Universities to deliver bespoke training programmes and consultancy projects. We are continually building and developing partnerships with private and public organisations, sharing expertise and enabling our clients to develop a better understanding of Asia and the Middle East.
