OKAY, WTF.
WHO THE HELL THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO DO THIS BLOODY QUIDDITCH PRACTICE ACTIVITY?

It hasn't been fun or fair from the start because of the following things:

1) It's just giving people an excuse to be complete jackasses in the comments about things that piss them off about other people/houses.
2) If someone from one of the houses goes to sleep, that gives the other teams a chance to TAG TEAM that house and lose them points. Yes, that is really fair. (To be fair, I realize we and the Puffs were sort of doing that for a while, but it's still not fair for what was SUPPOSED to be a fun activity.)
3) They seriously should cut it off way earlier than Friday. It has only been up for literally HOURS, and it already has 11 pages. Mind, half of that is the incoherent ramblings of a drunken Puff who is mocking us incessantly in her drunken posts, but HEY, WHO NEEDS TO MODERATE THAT SHIT?

I'm sorry, but reading some of the shit in that post is making me want to stab something. Seriously? You guys can do whatever the hell you want. I'm not playing in their sandpit anymore, not for this activity. Have fun trying to beat them for us.

The big problem is that these kids think they're all mature and 'awesome' and smart, when in fact they're immature little brats with shit for brains. And they can't/won't see it. So much of the time in this community I say, "What the hell is wrong with kids these days?" and then I feel ancient. @_@

	I was thinking that precise thing. Sad that we're stuck with the idiots. I tried to work on that activity and pretend the others weren't there. Not sure how successful I'm being. I tried to play along reasonably as long as I could with lines like

One thing that confuses me is when did it become "canon" that Gryffindors shout (aka caps lock), throw random moving pictures at everything, along with many other annoying characteristics? Have people been reading an acid trip version of Harry Potter that I'm missing? I mean I don't mind a little capslock and like 1 or 2 gifs on a page, but Jesus Christ. No wonder we hide in the dungeons.

I've read all the books, too, thanks, and there's nothing saying that part of being a Gryff is being immature or obnoxious. I doubt McGonagall would put up with their shit for two minutes.

It's a major pet peeve of mine when people use their house affiliation to excuse bad behaviour. "Sorry I'm being an asshat and correcting you unnecessarily, it's the Claw in me." "I just can't help being a douchebag and spamming glitter everywhere, I'm too much Gryff." "Sorry I don't give a shit about your feelings, I'm just toooo Slytherin." Um, NO. You're just being YOU. The fact that you self-identify with a fictional group of people does not change anything or force you to behave in a certain way. It's as lame as when people come up with stuff like "Sorry I'm so flighty/indecisive, I'm such a Gemini!" Um, no. The stars are not making you be lame, that's just you. :| I know we're in a Harry Potter game here and we love our houses, but REALLY? Some people seem to forget that this is actually make-believe (or that houses don't actually force you to behave a given way in canon, either!).
