After a few weeks of incredibly loving emails and wonderful believable photos, American soldier confesses to having seized 8 million dollars worth of gold bars from a bombed out building in Tripoli....then claimed to shipping company that Canadian woman with police background is his wife and ships the gold to Canada, however, it was stopped by Netherlands Customs office where it still sits in a locked box....possibly just a box of rocks. Then soldier asks woman to help pay the Customs Clearance Certificate fee of over 4 thousand dollars......does any of this sound familiar to you other women out there.

I would post his photos, but like the fraud department investigator at the local police dept. says "if it's legitimate, please by all means let her know and she'll add another report to the file".....How can one find out if it's legitimate if one doesn't communicate with the soldier anymore?

I have sent his photos to the Pentagon's Department of Defense in Washington DC as well as to the Criminal Investigation Department of the USA Army. I won't be posting his photos here as there's a chance this is a valid claim by the soldier and I wouldn't want to be held responsible for slander and libel.

When I was doing further research about Libyan Gold scams, my computer picked up a virus on the BBB Blog sidebar link....so this is another warning about the Libyan factor.

Please contact me if you want to share your Libyan experiences. Thanks....Ryn Mayer
